                What is a Good Member.

The member within Hwa Rang Mul Sul is that they train their mind, body, and spirit as a way of life, to take the true path of enlightenment through Seon(Zen) education of finding oneself within the universe as a whole of "Mind of No Mind".
 
The member within Hwa Rang Mul Sul is a person who comes to the dojang, and trains to find themselves within the world of martial arts fighting, and does dedicate themselves to the way of life as a member, the student's dedication to oneself of enlightenment within the mind, body, and true spirit of a Hwarang Warrior Knight, and for the younger members that education first, fighting last. 
 
Take the choice, and path in what you truly want from Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and Head Master "Hud's teachings.
 
What is takes to be a good member within the dojang:
 
[1.] NEVER tire of learning, a good member can learn anywhere, anytime, no matter what; No excuses allowed.  This is the secret of knowledge.
 
[2.] A good member MUST be willing to sacrifice for their art, and teachings within the dojang, and life as a whole.  Many members feel that their Head Master's teachings, and training is a commodity bought with monthly fees, and are unwilling to take part in demonstrations, teachings, and or working around the dojang.  The Head Master of a dojang can afford loosing this type of member.
 
[3.] As a senior ALWAYS set good examples for the lower rank belts to follow at all times inside, and outside of the dojang in public.
 
[4.] Remember, that the member's CONDUCT outside the dojang reflects on Hwa Rang Mul Sul, the Head Master, and the dojang.
 
[5.]  Always be loyal, NEVER criticize, and or brake a trust with the Head Master of Hwa Rang Mul Sul, the dojang, and the teaching methods.
 
[6.] NEVER ever be disrespectful to the Head Master, Sabum-nims, Seniors, fellow members.  No matter what.
 
[7.] If the Head Master, and or the Sabum-nims teaches a technique, ALWAYS practice, understand it, and attempt to utilize the technique to protect oneself.
 
[8.] The member MUST always be eager to train with body, mind, and spirit, and explore all questions of life.
 
[9.] NEVER ask for a new technique from the Head Master, this is disrespect to the Head Master, and yourself.  The Head Master will teach you when he knows that you are ready.  Learn what dedication, patience, and hard work is.
 
[10.] If a member adopts a technique from another Master, Sabum-nim, and or another dojang during their training in Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and the Head Master disapproves of this technique, the student MUST discard of this technique immediately, or leave the dojang of Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and train with the other dojang where the technique was taught.
 
[11.] NEVER, Ever Break a Trust With The Head Master of Hwa Rang Mul Sul.
 
 
Respect of Your Head Master, Masters Sabum-nims, Seniors:
 
Members WILL bow to their Head Master, Dosa-nims and Sabum.nims, Seniors each time they correct their techniques, form, and or teaches them a new technique, or approaches them at any time.
 
The member must ALWAYS walking behind the Head Master, Dosa-nims, Sabum-nims, Seniors by giving respect.  This symbolizes their readiness to protect their Head Master, Dosa-nims, Sabum-nims, and Seniors from a possible rear attack, and the Head Master, Dosa-nims, Sabum-nims, and Seniors are always ready to protect their members from a front attack.
