Deputy Member Black Belt
(5 years old to 17 years old).
Dan Black Belt Teacher (Qualified to Teach)
(18 years old & Up).
Dan Black Belt Member (Not Qualified to Teach)
(18 Years old & Up).
The age of a member to qualify to test for a black belt dans after 18 years old, and older. We DO rank any member that is under the age of 18 years old only as a Deputy Member Black Belt with no dan ranks (5 years Old - 17 years Old). We do accept members who have obtained this rank at an early age through training from another Master in the Korean Martial Arts if they qualify, and pass an interview with Master "Hud".
1st Level - Deputy Member Black Belt (5 Years old to 17 Years old).
2nd Level - Deputy Member Black Belt (5 Years old to 17 Years old).
3rd Level - Deputy Member Black Belt (5 Years old to 17 Years old).
The Rank of Dans of Black Belt Members can Only Hold are the Il-1st, Yee-2nd, Sam-3rd Dans Only, and Are Not Authorized, or are Not Qualified to Teach as a Sabum-nim in the Hwa Rang Mul Sul system, and or for The Korean Hwarang Martial Arts Federation®.
Il Dan - 1st Dan Black Belt - Member
Yee Dan - 2nd Dan Black Belt - Member
Sam Dan - 3rd Dan Black Belt - Member
These ranking dans are only for the qualified Black Belt Sabum-nims, and Masters of Hwa Rang Mul Sul.
Il Dan - 1st Dan Black Belt - Sabum-nim (Teacher).
Yee Dan - 2nd Dan Black Belt - Sabum-nim (Teacher).
Sam Dan - 3rd Dan Black Belt - Dosa Sabum-nim
(Master Teacher).
Sah Dan - 4th Dan Black Belt - Dosa Sabum-nim
(Master Teacher).
Oh Dan - 5th Dan Black Belt - Dosa Sabum-nim
(Master Teacher).
After 5th Dan the requirement is not the physical, and the mental aspects of training one's body, but what do you as a Master level Dan to expand your teachings, dojang, community service, keeping the art alive, education of the public, and beyond as a Master of Hwa Rang Mul Sul.
Yook Dan - 6th Dan Black Belt -- Dosa-nim (Master).
Chil Dan - 7th Dan Black Belt -- Dosa-nim (Master).
Pal Dan - 8th Dan Black Belt -- Dosa-nim (Master).
Koo Dan - 9th Dan Black Belt -- Dosa-nim (Master).
There is only one Grand Master within Hwa Rang Mul Sul, Grand Master Kim, Kwang K., once he has passed onto Happy Mountain, this level is passed to his Son, then passed onto the next high rank level Master once the son has passed, continued until the last Master has died with the art of the Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and it's traditions.
Tang-dang-han Dosa-nim -- (Grand Master) Level.
