                     History of Korean Weapons.
_____________________

The Korean people throughout the beginning were associated with a period of Paleolithic human culture characterized by using refined stones as tools for farming, and later as combat weapons. With these areas of combat weapons, and the art, and science of theory of war, the Korean people created more weapons from their farming tools to be able to survive from invading armies. The history of the ancient weaponry of the Hwa Rang Warrior Knights in Korea can be traced back to the period of the Neolithic Age(The Stone Age) in which they made polished stone implements that introduce a group of weapons for combat, and even further back in the history of the Korean people.

The greatest influence of Korean weaponry of the Hwa Rang Warrior Knights was from the Turkic-Manchurian-Mongolian tribes that invaded Korea, and then from the art of weaponry of the Chinese Night-fighters(Moshuh Nanren) from China into Hwa Rang Mul Sul training of the Hwarang during the period of the Three Kingdoms of the Shilla Dynasty which was passed into Japan.  The Hwarang Warrior Knights were highly trained in the Chinese art of combat weaponry of the Chinese Shadow Warriors, and trained to use any combat weapon unyieldingly with no fear of death.

The Hwarang Warrior Knights arsenal comprised of a variety of weapons for the Korean Shadow Warriors; sword, staff, hook, spear, chain, bow/arrows, sickle, and many other variety of advance, and secretive combat weapons to name a few that passed from the Chinese Moshuh Nanren Shadow Warriors to the Korean Hwarang Knight Shadow Warriors to the Japanese Ninja Shadow Warriors system.

During the period of the occupation of the Japanese into Korea, the Japanese Government band all use of any Korean weaponry, and military weapons, and the training of any, and all Korean martial arts by any Korean.  During this period of time the Japanese introduce, and brainwashed the Korean people into their art of martial arts, and weaponry to re-educate them into the way the Japanese culture, and customs.  Many of the old Masters of the Korean martial arts of the old Hwa Rang Mul Sul system went underground to resist against this way of life, and continued to fight against the Japanese government.

The Korean Shadow Warrior Martial Arts system of the Hwarang had  great influence towards the Ninjitsu, and Jujitsu systems during that period of time.  After the decline of the Hwarang, and Non-existent during the end of the 7th Century in the Shilla Kingdom.  The Japanese, and Chinese continues to practice this great art of the shadow warrior system.  The Japanese have built a great system of Ninjitsu which was established during the 12th century, that is still practice today throughout the world.

We teach the ancient art of the old Korean Shadow Warrior system of Hwa Rang Mul Sul!!   This system of the Korean Shadow Warriors fell in DECLINE at the end of the 7th Century, until the system became NON-EXISTENT!!

Today Master 'Hud' continues the teachings of the old traditional Korean Shadow Warrior Martial Arts system of Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and the weaponry of the Hwarang Warrior Knights that was past to him from his master in Korea to keep the old traditions of the Korean Shadow Warrior alive.  Master 'Hud', and his wife Sabum-nim 'Kum' have combined forces with their training of weaponry of Hwa Rang Mul Sul, and the Royal Buddhist Monastery Martial Arts(Sunmudo) into the training at The Korean Hwarang Martial Arts Federation®.

Please refer to the weapons training levels(Chambers) for the students on this website.

History presented here is past down to Master 'Hud' from his Master, and the Master before him, and the recorded family ancestors going back to the Three kingdoms of the Shilla Dynasty as Hwarang Warriors Knights during that period of time.

Much of the Korean martial arts history has been changed, destroyed, and or lost due to wars,, and Kings who have rewritten the history to suit their needs to control the people, and their kingdoms within Korea, and the Japanese had destroyed many records of the old history of Korea during their occupation.  Many have rewritten the history many times over for control, greed, and money.  Old styles of martial arts of Korea have had their names changed for the same reason.

We use our written history for our teachings of our members only, not to changed the minds of the public, and or the history corrupted in the past that has been changed many times over by evil kings, and high ranking officials in the martial arts of Korea.
