 Hwarang Youth Activity Clubs in the Dojang. _____________________ These clubs within the dojang are for active members only. All clubs are organized, run, and taught by Head Master 'Hud', and Dosa-nim 'Kum'. Members will be appointed to the President, Vice President, Secretary Consulate General, Sergeant of Arms to be leaders of each club by Head Master 'Hud'. These clubs are for members to learn a new activity in life, and have fun, and be part of a great group of friends, and family. The age group are 4 years old to 17 years old, along with mothers, and fathers to be part of these activities along with the member. There will be prizes given out for the best in each club, Grand Champion, 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place who presents the best Poem, Photography, Story Writing, Drawings, Cartooning, Cooking Recipe, Collection, Book Reports. These areas will be judge by Head Master 'Hud', Dosa-nim 'Kum', and selected parents. Yearly membership required for each club.

Hwarang Western Horsemanship, & Trail Riding Club: This club is about learning the proper way of riding, and care of a horse, and having fun, and excitement riding trails, being a cowboy, and cowgirl for a day. This class is taught by Head Master 'Hud' who comes from a family of 5 generation of cowboys. He has run, and owned a ranch, he also was the trainer, and owner of The Western Horsemanship Academy for many years. Boots, Jeans, and cowboy hat required. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Volunteer Club: This club is for members to learn to volunteer their services to society, and organization around their community. No yearly membership required. Hwarang Camping & Hiking Club: This club is to teach the member about camping, hiking, and survival techniques while out in the wilderness, or getting lost in the mountains. Have great fun camping, and hiking in the wilderness. Camping gear required. Yearly Membership Fee. Hwarang Biking Club: This club is to teach proper road safety while riding a bike on roads, on city streets, mountain biking, and proper bike laws for the rider. Day trips around the area to parks, city, and other exciting areas. Have great fun with fellow members. Proper bike, and helmet required by all members. Yearly membership Fee. Hwarang Photography Club: Have fun learning about photography by Head Master 'Hud' (Professional Photographer -since 1984). Graduated from The New York Institute of Photography. Learn about wildlife, landscape, and other aspects of photography. Camera required. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Gourmet Chef Cooking Club. Home kitchen required. Parent supervision, and support required at all times. Learn about different world recipes, and make up own recipes. Learn to be a Gourmet Chef. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Collectors Club. This is for the members who collect different items as a collection such as old comic books, memorabilia, stamps, rocks, dolls, coins, etc. Learn about collecting, and keeping your items safe. Yearly membership fee.

Hwarang Haiku Poem Writing Club: This club is about learning the art of poem writing in the form of Japanese Haiku poems that was taught to Head Master 'Hud' by his Master in Korea. Head Master 'Hud' is a published Haiku poem writer. Pen, pencil, and notebook required. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Story writing. This club is for the member who loves to write stories about different subjects. Head Master 'Hud' has written a series of children books, and illustrated them. He has illustrated books for other authors in the past. Learn to have fun, and follow the path of fantasy, and reality through writing for yourself, and others. Pen, pencil, and notebook required. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Drawing & Cartooning Club: This club is for members who want to learn to draw, or know how to draw. We are here to have fun drawing even if you don't know how, Head Master 'Hud' is a graduate of The Art Instruction Schools as a Illustrator, and Cartoonist,and is also a architectural designer who will teach you about drawing cartoons, and comic book drawing, basic drawing, and other aspects of art. Drawing equipment required. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Book Reading Club: This club is for the book reader who loves to read about life, the world, fantasy, reality, and taking a trip around the world through the art of reading a book. Reading a book is a great way to learn other customs, traditions, and languages of other countries. Read 3 books a month, and write a book report on each is required. List of books will given each month for the members to choose from by Head Master 'Hud'. Yearly membership fee. Hwarang Jammers Music Club Come out, have fun and jam with other jammers playing Rock & Roll, Country, Blues, and Classical, or learn how to play different instruments from different countries around the World.
