Hwa Rang Mul Sul Hyungs(patterns) are a very important part of the actual training of each Hwa Rang Warrior, which emphasizes a imaginary real life street situation which each hyung is comprised of multiple opponents, and attacks from all angles of the compass. The ancient hyungs of Hwa Rang Mul Sul follow a predetermined combat movements, techniques, situations with logical scientific studies in actual fighting with hand, foot, and weapons techniques of the Hwa Rang Warriors past. Each Hwa Rang Mul Sul Hyung will begin, and end at the same beginning point of the hyung. To train, and perform all movements, and techniques of the hyung a member must put forth all speed, and power to establish the spirit, and true balance of the mind, and body of Chi(Ki) which is the important value of the hyung when performed.
With the balance, muscle coordination, and endurance leads to the ultimate discipline for a combat situation in real life. The theory, art, and scientific studies of the hyungs is an important practice of hand, foot, and weapons of the Hwa Rang Warrior against an imaginary attacker to perfect A natural movement without thinking of the mind, as a student learns to breath naturally without the use of one's own mind, you are born to breath without the process of thought.
The art, and science of the principles of sparring, and fighting style is the Hwa Rang Warriors adaptation of the techniques acquired from the hyungs, and the difference from training, and actual combat situations in real life fighting.
Hwa Rang Mul Sul Hyungs are a historical demonstration of important aspects of the past history of the Korean country, customs, discipline of the Korean people, and that of the Hwa Rang Warrior's past. With the aspects is the development of the mind, body, and spirit of the member to achieve the ultimate high level of self improvement of enlightenment of the art, theory, and science of combat within the hyung. The hyung are designed to challenge a member's resources of the mind, and body to the high level of discipline within oneself as a warrior, and has been developed the theories of the scientific studies of the art of combat fighting with the logical real life movements within the sequence of the techniques of the hyung to increase the mind, body, and spirit of the Hwa Rang Warrior.
Each hyung should be practice 100 times a day to perfect the movements, and techniques without the use of the mind to become a natural part of life as taking a breath one's process of thought as being born.
