                     Korean Han-gul Alphabet
 
The Korean language of the old actually was developed from the Ural-Altaic language which consist of Turkish, Mongolian, and Tungustic languages.  The writing of Chinese characters were used to write Korean before the Korean Han-gul alphabet, which is still combined Han-gul alphabet of today's Korean language.  But the pronunciation of the characters are different from any of the Chinese dialects.
 
  • The Han-gul alphabet was developed during the Yi Dynasty, and the reign of King Sejong (1419-1450).
 
Korea's culture is part of this phonetic Han-gul alphabet, and the thinking pattern of the Korean people, and their customs of today's Korea.
